The Role
We are seeking a dedicated Health & Safety Advisor to join our client. This role is integral to ensuring that health and safety policies and procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to across our operations. The successful candidate will have a proactive approach to health and safety management, fostering a culture of safety and compliance.
What will you be doing?
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies and procedures.
- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with legal and company standards.
- Provide guidance and training to staff on health and safety practices.
- Investigate incidents and accidents and provide recommendations for improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legislation and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with management to promote a culture of safety across the organisation
What will you bring to the party?
- Proven experience as a Health & Safety Advisor or similar role.
- NEBOSH Construction or General Certificate (or equivalent experience)
- In-depth knowledge of health and safety legislation and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to conduct training sessions and workshops.
- Work independently and occasional travel to site for inspections
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
