Job Description

Drama Teacher

First For Education are currently recruiting for a Drama Teacher for an academy located in Dudley.

This is a sickness cover for 6-8 weeks.  It is full time, 5 days a week, Monday to Friday.

The academy’s teaching is active, exciting and inspiring, focusing on the needs of individual learners. The academy’s relentless focus on aspiration will ensure more of their learners achieve high grades; both learner attainment and achievement will be at or above national rates.

The academy’s curriculum is rich, broad and varied, meeting the needs of learners of all abilities. The academy aims for learners to be strong and resilient, to flourish in a culture where they want to learn and report high levels of satisfaction.

As socially aware young people, learners will understand how to best conduct themselves, professionally and socially, and to keep themselves safe. Learners will enjoy school and will feel happy in a safe environment. Staff will also feel happy, positive and motivated. 

What we are looking for:

  • Relevant teaching qualification – you can hold QTS, QTLS, PGCE or be an ECT.
  • A clear passion for teaching Drama and helping children learn.
  • Excellent punctuality and organisational skills.
  • Enhanced DBS on the update service ideal (if not you will need to have a new check completed).
