Flourish Education are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to work on a long-term basis in a 2-form entry primary school. This school is ā€œGoodā€ rated most recently at OFSTED, and they value creating a community spirit involving the children and their families.

Our client is looking for a Year 5 Teacher to support on a long-term, full-time basis, where the Teacher would be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering lessons to children in Year 5. As this school is 2-form entry the planning would be shared between the class Teachers.

As a Year 5 Teacher, your responsibilities will include:

  • Full class teaching duties, including planning, preparing, and delivering lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
  • Marking and assessing students' work.
  • Managing behaviour effectively to foster a positive learning environment.
  • Supporting the development of Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils.
  • Collaborating with colleagues in this 2-form entry Primary School.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT) status.
  • Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2) pupils.
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum.
  • Excellent behaviour management skills.
  • A commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive classroom environment.
