My client is looking to recruit a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing, and maintaining electrical systems and components on steel manufacturing lines. This position requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with clients to deliver high-quality solutions.

Duties

  • Afternoon Shift - Monday- Thursday 2pm-10pm -Friday 12p-8pm
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems, including motors, generators, switchgear, and circuit breakers.
  • Interpret electrical schematics, and manuals to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
  • Identify opportunities for improving electrical systems and processes.
  • Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical maintenance.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in electrical maintenance, with a strong emphasis on industrial settings.
  • Proven experience with various electrical systems and components, including Control equipment
  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining operational efficiency.
  • Conduct inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.

Qualifications

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, components, and schematics.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on customer service excellence.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
