We are recruiting on behalf of our client within the Dudley area, who has urgent requirements for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team!
This is a full-time (on-site) role for a Maintenance Engineer and will be in Dudley. The time served Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance plus much more.
Requirements:
- The applicant should be fully conversant with all aspects of engineering, will have a good working knowledge of 3 phase electrical control systems to include contactor, inverter circuits, Motors, and Safety circuits.
- The ideal candidate must have experience with Slitting and Decoiling and must be able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.
Qualifications/Experience/Interests:
- Experience in equipment maintenance, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and maintenance & repair.
- Expertise in maintenance engineering and electrical maintenance
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
- Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Experience with welding and fabrication
- Sub assembly work
- MIG/MAG/Arc welding
- Oxy Fuel
- Health & Safety (H&S)
- Electrics
- Experience or in-depth knowledge of Machining, Lathe/Milling/Grinding
- 17/18 Electrical Edition/AM2/AM2S
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
