We are recruiting on behalf of our client within the Dudley area, who has urgent requirements for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their growing team!


This is a full-time (on-site) role for a Maintenance Engineer and will be in Dudley. The time served Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for day-to-day tasks associated with equipment maintenance, maintenance engineering, maintenance & repair, preventive maintenance, and electrical maintenance plus much more.

Requirements:

  • The applicant should be fully conversant with all aspects of engineering, will have a good working knowledge of 3 phase electrical control systems to include contactor, inverter circuits, Motors, and Safety circuits.
  • The ideal candidate must have experience with Slitting and Decoiling and must be able to work unsupervised or as part of a team.


Qualifications/Experience/Interests:

  • Experience in equipment maintenance, planned preventive maintenance (PPM), and maintenance & repair.
  • Expertise in maintenance engineering and electrical maintenance
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation and schematics.
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Experience with welding and fabrication
  • Sub assembly work
  • MIG/MAG/Arc welding
  • Oxy Fuel
  • Health & Safety (H&S)
  • Electrics
  • Experience or in-depth knowledge of Machining, Lathe/Milling/Grinding
  • 17/18 Electrical Edition/AM2/AM2S
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
