Year 2 Teacher

Flourish Education are recruiting for a Year 2 Teacher to join a Primary School in Lower Gornal, Dudley. This school is a 3-form entry, large school who value working in partnership with staff and pupils and providing good role models within the school.

Our client is seeking a Year 2 Teacher, to work on a long-term basis, starting ASAP and continuing until Christmas, potentially ongoing. This role is a no-planning role, and the ideal candidate would be required to deliver pre-planned lessons.

The Responsibilities of the Year 2 Teacher Role:

• Full classroom responsibilities including planning, teaching, and marking
• Deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum for Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Ensure excellent behaviour management within the classroom
• Collaborate with the Primary School team to foster a positive learning environment
• Participate in school activities and parents' evenings

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or Early Career Teacher (ECT)
• Experience as a Primary Teacher or Class Teacher in Key Stage 1 (KS1)
• Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
• Excellent behaviour management skills
• Ability to adapt lessons to meet the needs of all learners
