BelkavitzSloan are proud recruitment partners to a UK market leader in the stockholding and supply of hot rolled coil, hot rolled strip and reversing mill products with full in-house added value services including; shearing, flame cutting, HD Plasma, CAD/CAM and fibre laser processing. This company have long established trade routes into some of the most prolific consumers of hot rolled flat products in the UK and Europe with a substantial presence in; Engineering, Automotive and some of the most critical construction projects both on and offshore.

After significant investment in new state of the art steel plate processing equipment the company require a business development manager to join the already successful flat products division with a view to nurturing, growing and maintaining a set portfolio of high profile key accounts and identifying and securing new business within the defined geographical location or market sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with experience in steel plate or sheet metal sales to join an established organisation who have long term expansion plans both in terms of increasing the volume of stock held and their processing capacity.

Responsibilities

Managing, Developing and strengthening a portfolio of key accounts whist generating new business and driving sales across the core industry sectors.
Increase market share within the region through promoting and selling the company's product range and targeting project based new business.
Provide sales and technical support for hot rolled carbon products and identify any opportunities to promote our added value services.
Managing relationships with regional customers and planning and implementing targeted campaigns.
Attending marketing conferences, exhibitions, and seminars to promote the company, their product range, service offering and delivery service.
