Advanced Recruit are recruitng on behalf of a leading specialist in the area of architectural Metalwork such as staircases , Balustrades , Structural glass and secndary steelwork, the company are actively recruitng for a skilled and experienced sales estimator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates for structural staircase projects, ensuring all aspects of design and fabrication are considered.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Analyze blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to provide accurate take-offs and pricing.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors to source materials and services.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Assist in the preparation of proposals and bids, ensuring compliance with project requirements and deadlines.
- Monitor project budgets and timelines, making adjustments as necessary to achieve profitability.
Qualifications/ Experience
- Proven experience as a Sales Estimator in the structural engineering or construction industry, with a focus on structural staircases preferred.
- Strong understanding of structural design principles and materials used in staircase construction.
- Proficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and clients.
- Relevant qualifications in construction management, engineering, or a related field are advantageous.
