Alliance Personnel are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Machine Operator to join one of their clients. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming AOI machinery used in the inspecting of electrical components.

The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge, proficiency in using hand tools, and strong PC knowledge.

This position requires a commitment to quality and safety while ensuring efficient production.

Responsibilities

  • Operate, program and monitor machinery to ensure optimal performance during the fabrication process.
  • Assemble components and products according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
  • Quality inspection
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machines to prevent breakdowns and ensure longevity.
  • Troubleshoot issues with machinery, employing logical reasoning to resolve problems effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve processes and enhance production efficiency.
  • Utilise basic maths skills for measurements and calculations necessary for production tasks.

Qualifications

  • Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in machine operation or a related field.
  • PC literate
  • Previous experience in electrical manufacturing environment is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think logically under pressure.

Full training will be provided.

Working hours Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 4:45pm, Friday 8:15a, - 2pm
