Job Title: Press Operator.
Location: Brierley Hill, West Midlands.
Salary: 11.94 per hour plus 15% shift allowance.
Hours: Rotating shifts (6am - 2pm, then 2pm - 10pm) Monday to Friday.
Job Description:
As part of our client's journey, we are currently seeking to appoint a Press Operator to join the Press Shop Team.
Reporting directly to the Press Shop Supervisor and working on the Press Shop Floor, your main duties will include the Shake Out process.
Additionally, you will be responsible for setting and operating the 2nd Operation processes, including inserting, pop riveting, spot welding, deburring, Pad Printer, and packing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate safely and adhere to required quality standards.
- Work diligently to meet production targets.
- Perform the Shake Out process and 2nd Operation processes (inserting, pop riveting, spot welding, deburring, Pad Printer, and packing).
- Health & Safety, Quality, and Target awareness.
- Work only as trained, utilizing the information assigned to the shop floor area you are deployed to.
- Work swiftly, methodically, accurately, and in a controlled manner.
- Demonstrate an ability to adhere to current quality and process procedures.
- Record relevant information accurately and legibly on documentation.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a continuous improvement environment that generates ideas year-round, helping to drive H&S, service, or cost improvement.
