Zest Education is currently partnering with a fantastic school in Dudley and is seeking a dedicated full-time teaching assistant to join their team after the Christmas break. This role will require the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday across this period.

To excel in this role, candidates should have a minimum of a Level 2 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent). Experience working with children in an educational setting is desirable, along with strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with teachers and pupils. Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students reach their full potential are essential qualities for the successful candidate.
As a general teaching assistant, you play a crucial role in the classroom environment. Working closely with the lead teacher, you are responsible for assisting in developing engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Your role involves providing one-on-one support to students, helping them with their classwork and assignments. Additionally, you are tasked with monitoring student progress and behaviour, ensuring a conducive learning atmosphere for all.
Pay will begin from 80.00 per day and will depend on experiences and references.
Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
