Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? Do you want to make a real difference in the lives of children? ADudley Primary School, part of an established MAT, is looking for an enthusiastic and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant.

About the Role:This is a 1:1 role supporting a child with an EHCP working at EYFS/Year 1 level therefore knowledge of basic Phonics would be desired. The role is full-time working from 8:45-15:15, Monday-Friday fromASAPuntil July, guaranteeing long-term work.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the class teacher in delivering high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils in Key Stage 1.
  • Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups, ensuring that every child makes progress in their learning.
  • Help create and maintain a positive and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support children with varying abilities, including those with special educational needs, ensuring their inclusion and progress.
  • Supervise and engage with children during playtime, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
  • Assist in preparing resources and setting up activities that support active and engaging learning.
  • Work collaboratively with other members of the school community to promote a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
We are looking for someone who:
  • Has experience working with children in a school setting, ideally in Key Stage 1.
  • Holds a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
  • Is enthusiastic, caring, and patient with a genuine passion for supporting childrens learning and development.
  • Can work effectively as part of a team and build positive relationships with children, staff, and parents.
  • Is committed to promoting the welfare and safeguarding of children.
  • Is flexible and adaptable, with strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to supporting teaching and learning.
