Job Title: Teaching Assistant specialising in Speech and Language support
TeacherActive are seeking a Teaching Assistant specialising in Speech and Language support in an “Outstanding” SEND School in Dudley for a full time long term position staring March 2025.
Responsibilities:
- Helping pupils with speech and language difficulties to communicate effectively
- Confidently communicate with learners, using visual and communication aids
- Supporting individual pupils or small groups in the classroom
- Assisting teachers in delivering lessons and activities
- Supporting pupils with their personal care and hygiene needs
- Maintaining a safe and supportive learning environment for all pupils
Requirements:
- Experience working with children, particularly those with speech and language difficulties
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and be flexible in your approach to work
- A passion for supporting children to reach their full potential
- Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
