A state-of-the-art moulding facility serving high-technology sectors is actively seeking an experienced Injection Moulding Technician to join their business.

Working within a busy mouldshop you will be responsible for ensuring smooth production of technical mouldings, maintaining high levels of quality and keeping scrap to a minimum.

For the right person, this role offers the exciting opportunity to progress into management in due course.

***35,000-40,000 + Bonus, Monday to Friday***

As an Injection Moulding Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Working on new tooling projects.
  • Process optimisation.
  • Planning of tool changes in the mould shop and undertaking production tool changes.
  • Leading and training teams of operatives and temporary workers.

To be successful in the role of Injection Moulding Technician, the ideal candidate will:

  • Have significant experience of plastic injection moulding.
  • Know how to set parameters from scratch, with some experience of tool trialling.
  • Have worked with a range of different polymers, with excellent knowledge of their properties.
  • Have experience of optimising processes to reduce cycle times, reduce scrap and save money.
