SF Recruitment are working with a business based in Dudley who is looking for a Head of Insurance / Compliance to join the team.
c拢80,000 + Depending on experience (Happy to talk through salary individually)
Must have extensive experience within insurance

Duties Include:
路 Analysing, identifying and classifying risks and exposures.
路 Implementing and updating policy and procedure to measure and manage exposure risks and take mitigating actions
路 Compiles loss trends.
路 Responsible for the adherence to regulatory and ethical standards
路 Providing compliance advice to business stakeholders and escalating material compliance issues
路 Managing regulatory requirements stemming from the FCA regulations and requirements, overseeing the compliance monitoring plan, and providing advice and management of FCA compliance plans, among other duties
路 Investigate and escalate significant compliance failures and manage regulatory reporting.
路 Produce management reports for senior managers.
路 Conduct and oversee regular audits
路 Providing internal and external compliance training.
路 Continuously evaluate and optimise the warranty claims process to improve efficiency and customer experience.
路 Develop and implement new warranty management systems and tools.
路 Streamline communication channels between customer service, Clients, and the warranty department.

Experience and Skills Required:
路 A relevant professional qualification preferably CII certified or proven knowledge of insurance sufficient to be able to fulfil the above responsibilities
路 Detailed knowledge of insurance industry best practice and compliance standards including Bordereaux
路 Significant FCA knowledge and experience
路 Minimum of 10 years compliance and insurance experience
路 Previous experience in a compliance management role within the insurance industry
路 Experience of working within underwriting, pricing or exposure management
路 In depth knowledge of the insurance industry, including regulatory frameworks
路 Highly organised and able to work independently
路 Strong attention to detail
路 Team player and ability to manage key relationships
路 Good verbal and written communication skills
