Location: Dudley
Hours of Work: Monday to Friday- 7am to 4pm
Salary: 30k to 35k per annum (DOE)

Are you an experienced Quality Inspector looking for yournext opportunity in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We are currently recruiting for a hands-on Quality Inspector to join our client in the Dudley Area.

In this role, you'll be working directly alongside the Production Manager to ensure high-quality standards are consistently met across the production line. This is an office-based role with regular time spent on the shop floor, combining technical inspection work with data handling and administrative tasks.


Key responsibilities:
  • Conduct inspections of products and processes on the shop floor to ensure quality standards are maintained.
  • Use a variety of measuring and inspection tools, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Input and manage data using Excel spreadsheets and internal software systems (training provided).
  • Monitor and verify production processes and provide feedback to the Production Manager.
  • Communicate effectively via email and internal systems to track and report quality issues.
  • Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to assess product compliance.
  • Completing and maintaining accurate inspection reports and maintaining quality records.

Suitable candidates will have:
  • Previous experience in a manufacturingor factory environment (Essential).
  • Proficient in using inspection tools and confident working with Imperial Measurements.
  • Strong ability to read and understand technical drawings and specifications.
  • Competent with basic office systems - Excel, Email, Data Entry.
  • Confident using a range of IT software systems(Training will be provided where needed).
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently but also as part of a team.
