Mon to Fri - 6am - 2pm / Mon to Thurs - 2pm - 12am /Mon to Thurs 8pm - 6am

The role:
You will be tasked to carry out preventative maintenance tasks as well as be reactive with regard plant breakdowns and repairs.
All actions need to be carried out in a safe and professional manor, reporting to supervisors and filling out daily shift reports and other necessary paperwork.
General Scope of work:
- Responsible for PPM
- Work on hydraulic and pneumatic systems on Slitting and De-coiling machines
- Read from engineering drawings
- General Welding and Fabrication
- Oxygen/acetylene burning
- Bench fitting
- Forklift/cherry picker/OHC operation
Experience/Qualifications Required:
- Completed Apprenticeship/time served would be preferred.
- NVQ level 3 or City and City and Guilds in Mechanical Maintenance
- Experience on Slitting/De-coiling machines would be an advantage but not essential
- Able to work on own initiative and within a team
