What You'll Do:
Team Leadership & Development:
Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performing engineering team.
Provide guidance, feedback, and career development opportunities.
Recruit and retain top engineering talent.
Technical Excellence:
Oversee the successful delivery of engineering projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements.
Ensure the team meets product design and quality standards.
Project Management:
Drive project delivery on time and within budget.
Manage resources, risks, and contractor engineering support.
Oversee capital expenditure requests aligned with program budgets.
Collaboration & Communication:
Act as a key liaison between engineering, sales, and operations.
Communicate project progress and challenges to leadership.
Engage with third-party suppliers to ensure service excellence.
Quality & Process Improvement:
Champion continuous improvement in engineering processes.
Promote best practices in design, testing, and documentation.
Drive adoption of our new product development processes.
What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering (Master's is a plus).
Experience: 5+ years in a multi-disciplinary engineering environment, with a focus on product development and introduction.
Leadership: Proven experience in managing and mentoring engineering teams.
Skills: Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
Technical Expertise: Hands-on mechanical or mechatronics experience is desirable.
Global Experience: Background in working with international teams is a plus.
