Are you a whiz on Excel and are experienced in a production or manufacturing department?
Are you looking to join a forward thinking and stable company with opportunities to learn and grow?
We are looking for a self-motivated individual to join our client's production planning team to support the requirements of the Sales department. You must have strong experience using Excel and have experience in a production environment to be considered for this opportunity.

Job responsibilities of the Production Administrator:

The primary function of this role will be to prepare, analyse, and develop new and existing reports, in addition to, maintaining and building databases to include:
  • Customer Demand Forecasts
  • Monthly customer OTIF report
  • Back-order reporting
  • Production capacity requirements
  • Maintenance of planning databases
  • Inputting production statuses onto our MRP system.
  • Liaising with our purchasing department regarding material shortages.
  • Communicate with the production team to ensure products are manufactured and processed to the agreed plan.
  • Assist with and help to develop production planning tools within a rapidly changing environment.

Job Requirements of the Production Administrator
  • Strong Excel skills - must be able to do v-look ups and pivot tables.
  • Experience using MRP and/or ERP Systems.
  • Ideally some experience within the manufacturing industry.
  • Strong administrative skills and strong communication skills at both verbal and written levels.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • An analytical mind and an eye for detail, in order to interpret data and advise on actions required.
