Im working with a well-established, national, multi-site manufacturing business who have an exciting opportunity to recruit an experienced Production Supervisor to support the site with the operational activities across people management, attainment to production schedules. As they are already leaders in their sector, and have a well-trusted and respected brand, this is a fantastic opportunity for someone to work in a driven and experienced team in a fast paced, and growing business.

The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:

• Plan and implement daily/weekly schedules, reporting deviations to management.
• Ensure adherence to procedures and promptly address production issues.
• Minimize health and safety incidents and meet all deliverables.
• Lead production operations, ensuring KPI targets are met.
• Develop SOPs and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with departments on customer demand changes.
• Conduct daily team briefings and implement Team Leader training programs with regular performance reviews.
• Oversee HR processes including absence management and disciplinary actions.
• Support Team Leaders with associate training and ensure accurate shift handovers.
• Manage operational budgets and overtime.

Skills and Experience

• Previous experience in overseeing a team of manufacturing operatives
• Experience and exposure within a LEAN manufacturing environment
• Previous experience of using ERP/MRP Systems
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Ability to use IT systems effectively
• This role would suit a candidate with previous experience as a Production Supervisor / Manufacturing Supervisor / Production Team Leader / Shift Supervisor / Shift Manager
