Key Responsibilities:
- Operate slitting and de-coiling machinery
- Set up and adjust machinery for various steel gauges and widths
- Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to specifications
- Maintain accurate records of production and machine performance
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Slitter Operator with de-coiling expertise in a steel environment
- Strong understanding of slitting processes and equipment
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines
Rate of pay:
£12.50-£13.50 dependant on experience
Hours of work:
6am-2pm Monday to Friday
