ABC Teachers is seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to work in an SEN School in Dudley full-time.
About The Role:
- As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of students.
- You will work alongside a class teacher and a team of experienced support staff, providing tailored assistance to students with severe and profound learning difficulties.
- The role involves working with students aged four to nineteen, either one-on-one or in small groups, to help them achieve their potential.
- This is a full-time position, with the potential to become ongoing for the right candidate.

About you:
To be considered for the Learning Support Assistant position, you will:
- Have previous experience working with children and young people with a range of special educational needs, such as learning difficulties, autism and sensory needs.
- Suitable qualifications such as Youth Work, Health and Social Care or Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools are desired but not essential.
- Have strong communications skills with the ability to quickly build rapport with students
- Able to obtain suitable references and a DBS check.
