A manufacturer of high-precision components sold into the automotive industry is now seeking an NPI Engineer to join their Technical Team.

Supplying into OEMs globally, this business is experiencing a period of growth, so they are looking to bolster their already large engineering team. The main focus for the role is Quality Assurance and Customer Satisfaction

NPI Engineer duties include:

  • Coordinating and supporting improvements improvement projects to increase Quality output
  • Communicating and coordinating with both internal and external stakeholders on status and Quality reports
  • Implement best practice solutions and reduce NVA activities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain an RFT (right first time) methodology
  • Support in the procurement of new tools for both projects and production
  • Liaise with the sales department helping to expand customer markets
  • Keep up to date with, and make recommendations on Projects to improve performance
  • Drive a continuous improvement mentality

The ideal candidate will be confident with Quality documentation such as PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, and PFMEA. Any experience of project management in NPI or Prototype manufacturing would be beneficial
