  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Perform preventive maintenance on all operational equipment and facilities.
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records using the MP2 maintenance program.
    • Troubleshoot and repair operational equipment on a daily basis.
    • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
    • Respond promptly to significant breakdowns and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Who You Are:
    • Minimum City & Guilds level 3 mechanical/electrical engineering (preferably apprentice trained)
    • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Demonstrate a customer-oriented personality and approach.
    • Have experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
    • Exhibit strong attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard and potential hazards are identified.
    • Have a basic understanding of electrical, pneumatics, and other systems.
    • Show willingness and flexibility to work overtime.
    • Be open to occasional travel.
Are you an experienced Maintenance Technician looking for a new opportunity with an award winning manufacturer of conveyor belts based in Kingswinford, Dudley?

Annual Salary: 34,000 to 38,000 (DOE)
Weekly Hours: 7.30am to 4pm

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all operational equipment and facilities.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records using the MP2 maintenance program.
  • Troubleshoot and repair operational equipment on a daily basis.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and prevent breakdowns.
  • Respond promptly to significant breakdowns and develop strategies to prevent future occurrences.
  • Train personnel in the correct and safe operation of various machines.
  • Prioritize tasks to maintain assembly buffers effectively.

Who You Are:
  • Minimum City & Guilds level 3 mechanical/electrical engineering (preferably apprentice trained)
  • Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a customer-oriented personality and approach.
  • Have experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting.
