We’re hiring for a Production Operative to join a specialist manufacturer based in Dukinfield.
In this role you will help improve and maintain the quality of the company’s products by carrying out quality checks at the end of the manufacturing process.
What’s on offer?
- £11.60 per hour
- Monday – Thursday 6:00am - 6:00pmÂ
- 4-day work week
- Overtime available at enhanced rates
- Free onsite parking
What will you be doing as a Production Operative?
- Conducting rigorous inspections and quality checks on incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet company standards
- Monitoring and evaluating production processes to ensure they adhere to established quality control standards and specifications
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers and production staff, to address and resolve quality-related issues
- Developing and implementing quality control procedures, guidelines, and documentation to maintain consistency and traceability in the manufacturing process
What do you need?
- Previous experience within a production environment
- Familiarity with conducting audits and assessments would be an advantage
- The ability to communicate effectively within various levels across the business
