We are currently seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to various locations, with the furthest drop off being in Scotland. The position requires no more than 3 points on your driver's license.

Responsibilities:

  • Drive a van and deliver goods to various locations in a timely and safe manner
  • Plan delivery routes and ensure that all deliveries are made on time
  • Load and unload goods from the van, and ensure that they are handled safely
  • Ensure that all delivery paperwork and invoices are completed accurately
  • Maintain the van in good working condition, reporting any issues or faults immediately
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations, ensuring that the van is operated safely at all times
  • Provide excellent customer service, interacting with clients in a polite and professional manner
  • Maintain a clean and tidy van, ensuring that it is presentable at all times

Requirements:

  • Full, clean driver's license with no more than 3 points
  • Previous experience as a van driver or similar role is preferred
  • Good knowledge of road safety and traffic laws and regulations
  • Ability to plan delivery routes efficiently and effectively
  • Good communication skills and ability to interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends if required
  • Good time management and organisational skills

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 08.00-18.00 (Overtime when necessary)
