Vibe Recruitment are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading business within the automotive industry, who are looking for a Bookkeeper/Receptionist to join their team in the Dukinfield area. This is a full-time, permanent role that offers a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong bookkeeping and administrative skills, as well as a keen interest in the automotive sector.

About the Role:
As a Bookkeeper/Receptionist, you will be responsible for a variety of financial and administrative tasks, providing essential support to the day-to-day operations of the business. You will be the first point of contact for customers and visitors, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere while also maintaining accurate financial records and assisting with general office duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Bookkeeping duties: Manage accounts payable and receivable, process invoices, and reconcile financial statements.
  • Payroll processing: Assist with payroll administration and ensure timely payments.
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with preparing financial reports for management.
  • Reception duties: Greet and assist customers and visitors, answer phone calls, and handle general inquiries.
  • Scheduling: Book service appointments and manage daily schedules for the service team.
  • Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and office organization.
  • Ensure that the office and reception areas are kept neat, organized, and welcoming.

Ideally, You Will Have:

  • Previous experience in bookkeeping, with knowledge of basic accounting principles.
  • Strong administrative skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, Xero).
  • Excellent customer service skills and a professional phone manner.
  • Previous reception or office experience in a fast-paced environment (automotive experience is a bonus but not essential).
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • A proactive, positive attitude with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
