We’re hiring for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established manufacturing business based in Hyde.
In this role, you’ll be responsible for carrying out a variety of electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks across the site, ensuring equipment runs efficiently and downtime is minimised.

- £40,000 - £45,000 per year
- Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm (with some flexibility available)

What will you be doing as a Maintenance Engineer?
- Carrying out both electrical and mechanical maintenance across the site
- Servicing and repairing equipment such as overhead cranes, screw conveyors, fillers, metal detectors, and single-head weighers
- Operating basic tools such as drills and grinders to carry out maintenance tasks
- Attending management meetings to provide updates and contribute to maintenance planning
- Responding to breakdowns and prioritising repairs to reduce downtime
- Supporting the wider team in maintaining a safe and efficient production environment
What do you need?
- Previous experience in a similar multi-skilled maintenance role
- Electrical certification (minimum 16th Edition)
- Full UK driving licence
- Previous experience working in a food production or manufacturing environment (desirable)
