Production Manager - Greater Manchester

The role

  • Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
  • QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.
  • Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.
  • Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.
  • Hands on involvement for health and safety across all departments.
  • Identify training requirements across all departments.
  • Hands on responsibility for annual programme of internal and external audits.
  • Manage maintenance and servicing for all departments.

The profile

  • NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
  • Must be able to demonstrate the ability to lead and support.
  • Must be able to plan and organise activities of self to achieve balance of proactive and reactive tasks.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.
  • Practical experience of medium batch production process.
  • Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.
  • Confident problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
  • A hands-on leader who is ready to roll up their sleeves when needed.
