Production Manager - Greater Manchester

About the role:
We are looking for an energetic, hands-on Production Manager to lead production, logistics and compliance in a growing, dynamic company. This is a vital role, and we need someone who is not afraid to roll up their sleeves and jump in when the team needs support. You will oversee the day-to-day operations, drive process improvements, and foster a culture of collaboration and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage daily operations across production, logistics, warehousing and compliance.
- Implement lean processes to boost efficiency and productivity.
- Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.
- Support and develop a motivated, high-performing team.
- Troubleshoot production/logistics issues-get involved when things need fixing.
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and improve operational reporting.
Requirements:
- Experience in operations management - manufacturing/production experience is essential.
- NEBOSH or IOSH Managing Safely
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and drive change.
- Hands-on attitude-willing to get involved on the ground when needed.
- A problem-solver with great organisational and analytical skills.
- Practical experience of medium batch production process.
