We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Upper Key Stage 2 Teacher for a full-time, long-term role in Year 5. The ideal candidate will be a confident and adaptable KS2 educator, ready to make an immediate impact and contribute effectively throughout the summer term.

Start Date: April 2025Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 08:15 AM – 4:00 PMInterview/Trial Dates: Weeks commencing 10th March & 17th March

Key Stage 2 Teacher Role and Responsibilities

  • Plan and Deliver Engaging Lessons – Create and implement dynamic, curriculum-aligned lessons that inspire curiosity and foster a love for learning.
  • Assess and Monitor Progress – Regularly evaluate student performance through formative and summative assessments, providing feedback to support their development.
  • Classroom Management – Establish a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting good behaviour and respect while maintaining discipline.
  • Support Individual Learning Needs – Differentiate instruction to accommodate diverse learning abilities, ensuring every student receives the necessary support and challenge.
  • Collaborate with Colleagues and Parents – Work closely with fellow teachers, support staff, and parents to enhance student learning and overall school experience.
