Job description

Our client requires someone to take on this varied role reporting directly to and supporting the Managing Director in co-ordinating the day-to-day operation of the factory teams and providing full compliance responsibility.

The role would cover the following areas:

Production Resource

Forecasting/reordering/resourcing of materials.

Hands on involvement within production department to understand processes and material resource requirements.

QC Management - Carry out regular checks, assessments, and internal audits.

Driving standards and monitoring quality controls to reduce issues and delays.

Oversee induction and training of new production personnel and to coordinate training matrix throughout departments.

Compliance

Responsibility for health and safety across all departments.

Plan/carry out an annual programme of internal and external audits.

Manage servicing and maintenance for all equipment.

Key Requirements

Experience of health and safety essential, preferably with NEBOSH National Certificate in Fire Safety and Risk Management.

Highly organised with strong administrative and communication skills.

Have previous experience of and demonstrate strong negotiation and administrative skills.

Advantage but not essential to have previous experience of a production environment preferably in a supervisory capacity.

Potential for the role to develop further in supporting the Managing Director within the administration and coordination of the production departments.

This is a key role in which you would play an important part in the continued growth and development of the company.
