Cogent Staffing are recruiting for a Sales/Accounts Manager to join our client, an established food supplies company, on a full time basis.
Experience of sales within the foods supplies industry is not required but experience in the sales/account management is essential.
Shifts/salary:
- Monday to Friday
- 09:00-17:00 (can be flexible)
- £25,000 - £27,000
- Temporary to permanent opportunity
- In order to receive the higher pay rate you must have proven work history (3 years minimum) within a similar role
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers.
- Present and promote our products and services effectively.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to team goals.
- Maintain accurate records of calls and sales activities.
- Provide feedback on customer needs and market trends.
- Follow up leads from trade events.
- Generate own sales leads.
- Provide sales quotes.
- Deal with product enquires.
- Upsell products where needed.
- No KPI’s or sales targets.
Key requirements:
- Worked within sale, account management, telesales role or similar.
- Confident telephone manner.
- Be happy to carry out B2B sales on behalf of the organisation.
