Job Description: We are seeking a Junior Lab Technician to support our research and development efforts. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has recently left college and is looking to gain hands-on experience in a professional laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in the factory and getting their hands dirty.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting experiments and tests.
- Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
- Collect, analyse, and document data accurately.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Support senior technicians and scientists in various projects.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of the lab.
- Participate in factory operations and assist with production tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- High GCSEs in Maths and Science.
- No previous experience required; full training will be provided.
- Basic knowledge of laboratory techniques and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Eagerness to learn and develop new skills.
- Willingness to work in both the lab and factory environments.
