At GCP, we are looking for a Car Park Market Manager to assist in profitable growth and establish market share in relation to Car Parks. As part of the role, you will be out proactively developing sales, specifications and cultivating relationships with our customers to ensure we are generating current and future revenue for the GCP brand.

Our products & solutions are across waterproofing, protection and surfacing and in the role, you'll be working with customers such as; Local Authorities (Councils), Hospitals, Colleges, Universities as well as commercial business entities.

This is a national role, covering the whole of the UK - an expectation of travel is required, and candidates will need a full UK Driving license.

What we're looking for:

  • Proven track-record of successful specification sales within the waterproofing or construction related market
  • An understanding of installation/coating waterproofing systems and construction drawings/technical standards in relation to Car Parks and waterproofing systems
  • Excellent sales acumen, good questions skills and able to ask important qualification questions
  • Strong commercial awareness, with an ability to understand and communication value propositions of products.
  • Being a self-starter, with an ability to work independently and highly organised with excellent time management skills

What you will be doing:

  • Ensuring a healthy pipeline of opportunity within the Car Parks market and secure project sales contributing to GCP sales targets
  • Working across the Car Parks market with our customer base, ensuring you are putting the customer first and growing/managing key relationships across the market.
  • Converting specifications into winning business
  • Providing technical support where needed to specifiers that include engineers and architects
