Senior Practitioner Team: Cared For Children Location: Tameside Rate: £43

The Cared for Children service at Tameside we are seeking a motivated and dynamic Senior Practitioner.

The role will involve direct case management oversight of a reduced caseload of cared for children, some of whom will have complex circumstances and needs. To ensure our cared for children's holistic needs are met consistently.

The successful applicant will be expected to deliver reflective group supervision within the service, to supervise ASYE Social Workers in the team, typically this is limited to 1 person, to provide support to the Team Manager in addressing any performance or practice deficits through motivating the team and delivering shared learning and training as and when required and to provide support to team members through advice, guidance and occasional co-working.

Applicants must have significant experience of working in a cared for children service.

The office is based in Ashton Under Lyne and staff are expected to work in the office 3 days per week, according to service need.
