1:1 Mentor in SEN School

Hays are working with an SEN school in Tameside who are seeking a 1:1 Mentor to join their provision team, supporting students with Autism, Asperger's, ADHD and learning disabilities. As a 1:1 support mentor, you will play a critical role in creating a positive learning environment and providing personalised care to individual students.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide 1:1 support to SEN students
  • Foster a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Provide tailored support and implement Individualised Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Exercising behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in an educational setting
  • A passion for supporting students' educational and personal development
  • Excellent communication skills
  • The ability to build positive relationships
