Your new companyA world-class, multinational manufacturing group, headquartered in Somerset with a significant financial turnover in excess of £100mn Your new roleIn this role you can expect to be responsible for a range of financial accounting and management accounting functions, at a group level. This position will give you exposure to senior leadership and board-level reporting. You will also be involved in financial analysis and investor-level reporting. If you are a finance professional who is confident of your knowledge of financial reporting standards and would like to work for a high-quality, successful and growing business, this is the role for you. Below are some of the key duties in this position:
- Produce Group monthly management accounting pack and other monthly reporting packs.
- Support in the preparation of monthly management accounts, financial forecasts, and annual budgets.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports.
- Ensure the completion of their monthly reporting and consolidation processes.
- Provide financial analysis of the Group's financial results to senior management.
- Liaise with an external audit team during the audit of the Group's financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures and controls
- Assess the impact of new accounting standards
- Assist in maintaining a chart of accounts, including financial KPIs.
- Support Group tax provision and computations.
- Assist with various special financial projects as required by the Group.
- Maintain the Group's investor website and other related tasks.
