Management Accountant - £50,000 - £60,000 based in Bristol + hybrid working

We are partnering with a dynamic and growing manufacturing company to find a dedicated Management Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity for a newly qualified or qualified accountant with a passion for working in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

As the Management Accountant, you will play a key role in supporting the finance function, driving efficiency, and ensuring that the financial processes align with business objectives. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders across the business, including the project and product management teams.

Key Duties:

  • Lead and contribute to month-end responsibilities, working closely with key stakeholders, particularly the project and product management teams.
  • Reconcile banks and credit cards to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Track and monitor the delivery of projects, ensuring adherence to both timescales and budgets.
  • Prepare and submit financial returns for projects.
  • Oversee the collection of key non-financial performance metrics and perform facility usage calculations.
  • Allocate direct labour expenditure across various projects and product lines.
  • Analyse business data to identify trends that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Assist in the budgeting and forecasting process, providing insightful commentary and variance analysis.
  • Actively participate in and support project work as requested.

Your Profile:

  • Newly qualified or qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant.
  • 2+ years' experience in a manufacturing environment with a strong background in management accounting.
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Strong desire to excel and progress in your career, with a proactive, self-starting attitude.
  • Quick to learn and adapt to new systems, environments, and teams.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including board-level managers.
  • Highly organised, reliable, enthusiastic, and professional.
