Our client, a thriving and rapidly growing company based in the Southwest area and is seeking to recruit a talented Chemical / Process Engineer to join their Manufacturing department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical and operational support for day-to-day production operations and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor daily performance to ensure processes remain controlled, efficient, and compliant with safety standards.
  • Conduct analysis to enhance the safety, cost-effectiveness, throughput, and scalability of assigned process segments.
  • Offer technical guidance and support to technicians.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Process Engineer in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of distillation, extraction, and related processes.
  • Proven ability to solve practical process-related problems effectively.
  • Demonstrated capability to contribute innovative ideas to improve processes.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively across departments.
  • Awareness of SDS (Safety Data Sheets), warning labels, and H&S (Health and Safety) policies and procedures.
  • Familiarity with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) procedures for safeguarding product quality.
  • Keen attention to detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); knowledge of Six Sigma processes is desirable.

The successful candidate will possess:

Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, coupled with excellent interpersonal abilities.
