Senior Information Rights Officer – Local Authority – Full Time – Remote Working

Venn Group is currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Information Rights Officer to join a Local Authority on an initial three-month contract, with the likelihood of extension.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing and resolving information requests, including Data Protection and Freedom of Information (FOI) requests, within statutory timeframes.
Developing and implementing strategies, policy frameworks, and system plans on behalf of the Authority.
Providing expert advice and guidance to senior leadership and elected members on legal changes relating to Information Rights.
Handling Subject Access Requests (SARs), with a particular focus on Housing Disrepair SARs.

Assignment Details:

Contract: Three months initially, with the likelihood of extension
Working arrangements: Full-time, fully remote
Rate: Up to £45 per hour (Umbrella)
