BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER – ASSISTED LIVING SECTOR – HOME BASED

£47,000 basic plus car and uncapped commission

ASSISTED LIVING SECTOR – Telecare/Monitoring - Region - East of England

A global brand specialising in the development of technology/digital solutions for the health and social care sectors have an opening for a Business Development Consultant to cover their South East region.

Ideally based in the Eastern region of England you will report to the National Sales Manager and manage a specific geographical region

Typical day to day of the Business Development Manager:

  • Maintain existing customer loyalty.
  • Identify emerging business and market shifts
  • Develop customer base from self and telesales generated sales leads
  • Maintain all necessary customer, sales activity and sales status information within Salesforce.
  • Work closely with the internal sales team to affect the prompt processing of all sales related task
  • Attend national and regional exhibitions/networking events

Who/what are we looking for?

  • Strong experience selling into Local Authorities
  • Product knowledge in the Assisted Living & Healthcare sector (Telecare and Monitoring would be an advantage but not essential)
  • Good presentation skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to negotiate effectively
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
