Our client is a large multi-faceted property company with nationwide offices. This is a fantastic new role for an experienced property professional living somewhere in the Devon, Somerset Bristol or Cardiff areas, with at least five to ten years property experience at a senior level and ideally business development or cold start experience (although not essential) under their belt. Salary in the region of £45-50,000 on target earnings with excellent basic salary and car allowance.

The purpose of the role will be to grow the probate services portfolio nationwide by securing multiple relationships with solicitors, trusts and charities. This will involve:

  • Identifying solicitors and probate service providers.
  • Contacting senior partners and heads of department.
  • Presenting the full company probate service offering to senior business leaders.
  • Presenting the full company probate service offering to probate team members.
  • Overseeing marketing strategy and social media campaigns.
  • Attending appropriate networking events as required.
  • Managing any ongoing relationships established.

The experience and skills that are essential to be are:

  • Experience of business development in either the Property or Legal profession.
  • Effective across multiple methods of lead generation
  • Understanding of how to promote the business via multiple sources
  • Strong commercial awareness to secure profitable relationships.
  • Good relationship skills both internally and externally
  • Technically good and active in keeping oneself and the Business up to date with new legislation.
  • Resilience to keep pushing for new opportunities.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Strategic thinker and a hands-on executor who leads by example.
  • Good follow up skills
  • Knowledge of the housing market

The role will involve face to face meetings with key decision makers including clients, lenders and attending events as and when required. This may sometimes involve an overnight stay and expenses for mileage, accommodation will be reimbursed. You will also be expected to attend meetings in Exeter & Cardiff.

This is a superb opportunity for someone with a strong property background who is seeking a role with more autonomy to manage your own diary and with the drive and determination for business development.

Monday - Friday 9-5.30pm Core hours

Basic salary in the region of £35,000

£4000 car allowance plus mileage allowance for business mileage

On target earnings £45-50,000 with expected earning potential far higher once established.
