Overview:We are seeking a driven and experienced Sales Manager to join our team. This role involves selling and hiring out telescopic crawler cranes from 25 ton up to 130 ton, as well as piling equipment, with order values ranging from £300k up to £2.5mil. The role primarily focuses on establishing and nurturing strong customer relationships, targeting the civil engineering, construction, and groundworks markets nationwide.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities
- Manage a mix of new business and account management
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to the company's growth
- Collaborate with the sales team to drive overall success
Experience:
- Proven track record in sales, preferably within the plant, construction or engineering industry
- Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
Day-to-Day:
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions
- Collaborate with the operations team to ensure smooth delivery of equipment
- Utilize CRM systems to manage and track sales activities
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities
