- Develop and implement strategic business development plans
- Identify and pursue new opportunities
- Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
- Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy
- Report on progress and outcomes to executive leadership
- Create and build a pipeline of prospective customers and convert those prospects into customers
- Support and develop an existing international client base across the entire company
- Plan and prioritise sales activity (e.g. tenders/pitches) to bring on new customers across multiple sectors and verticals to contribute to companies international growth strategy
- Suitable candidates will ideally have experience of dealing with clients / customers worldwide
- Experience within E-Commerce couriers is desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical and numeracy skills, including the ability to analyse data, draw relevant conclusions, and make recommendations to customers
- Fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems
