Senior Business Development Manager | Covering Regions Birmingham & South | Permanent | Remote£46,000 + Uncapped Bonus + Company Car or Allowance | Mon-Fri 37.5 Hrs Per WeekCherry Professional are recruiting for Senior Business Development Manager for an industry leading E-Commerce Parcel Courier.The ideal candidate will have previous experience dealing with client on an International scale.This company distributes more than 4 billion items annually, they are market leaders in Downstream Access Mail (DSA) services, handling over 50% of bulk business mail in the UK. They are in the top 100 privately owned companies with 22 locations across the UK. As Senior Business Development Manager, you will:
  • Develop and implement strategic business development plans
  • Identify and pursue new opportunities
  • Build and maintain a robust sales pipeline
  • Monitor industry trends and competitive landscape to inform strategy
  • Report on progress and outcomes to executive leadership
  • Create and build a pipeline of prospective customers and convert those prospects into customers
  • Support and develop an existing international client base across the entire company
  • Plan and prioritise sales activity (e.g. tenders/pitches) to bring on new customers across multiple sectors and verticals to contribute to companies international growth strategy
What they are looking for:
  • Suitable candidates will ideally have experience of dealing with clients / customers worldwide
  • Experience within E-Commerce couriers is desirable but not essential
  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, including the ability to analyse data, draw relevant conclusions, and make recommendations to customers
  • Fluency in software operating systems, such as MS Office and customer relationship management systems
  • Project management experience
