Repairs and Asset Manager
We are seeking an experienced Repairs and Asset Manager to assist and work alongside their Direct Labour Organisation (DLO).Repairs and Asset Manager
Start: ASAPRate: £500 - £550 per day - Negotiable depending on experience (Inside IR35)Duration: 6 Months Initially possible extension – with the possibility of being made permanent 5 days on site for this role - Nottingham  Main duties
- Effectively manage and deliver the maintenance, modernisation, construction, materials and stores and repair function of a responsive nature.
- Develop and implement a planned repairs work programme to minimise the level of responsive repairs requests
- Responsible for void turnaround as it relates to Housing Repairs
- To be responsible for damp, mould and condensation compliance in line with regulation and current standards
- Lead on the handling of customer complaints and Ombudsman enquiries as they relate to Housing Repairs, including compliance with the Ombudsman Compliant Handling Code
- Allocate and monitor service area budgets and work with the Finance Team to take mitigating action to manage any areas of under or over-spending
Requirements:
- Must have 3-4 years within housing repairs
- Previous Local government experience
- Knowledge of Housing Legislation including Right to Repair Building Regulations, Landlord and Tenant Act 1984 Section II
- Wide knowledge of all building crafts and regulations including Gas Safety Regulations and Electrical Installation Regulations
- Knowledge of the Housing Regulator Consumer Standards & Ombudsman codes of guidance
