I am currently seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our client's team as the Deputy Commissioning Manager. Our client operates within the nuclear sector and is located in the South of the United Kingdom.Role Description:Delivering commissioning projects to meet the appropriate national legal requirements and Client's requirement specification, the developed technical specifications and applied standards. Provide commissionability input into the detail design and construction processes.Qualifications:

  • Level 4 Qualification (e.g. HNC) preferred but 'commissioning specific' experience may be considered in lieu of qualification.
  • IOSH Managing Safely or equivalent
  • CSCS/ECS Affiliated cards (in date) in specific discipline
  • Member of institution (IET etc.) preferred

- SC/DV Clearance Eligible- UK residency for at least 5 yearsThe successful candidate will have experience with or knowledge of the following skills:* Electrical & Instrumentation and Control Systems commissioning experience* Experience in the nuclear industry* Previous site experience (nuclear)* AWE experience * Be familiar with commissioning procedures for TCA's, Fob's (or CR's) and handover.* Experience of managing a team of Principal Commissioning Engineers* Mechanical Bias PreferredThis role requires working shift patterns consisting of eleven days on followed by three days off. Rate: £79.60 per hour Umbrella for 66 hours per week.Retention bonus of £5/hour.Travel expenses over thirty miles (£100/day).
