Job Summary:

Acuity Care Group is actively seeking a dedicated Trainer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will take charge of delivering exceptional training programs to both new hires and existing staff across all business units under the Acuity Care Group umbrella, including Bespoke Health & Social Care and Learning, Disability & Autism services. The role demands proficiency in training delivery, along with prior management experience and the flexibility to travel throughout England as required.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver training sessions on topics such as Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support, Administration of Medication, and Company Induction.
  • Develop and update training materials and resources to ensure relevance and effectiveness.
  • Conduct training needs assessments and work with management to identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide coaching and support to staff members to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure training programs meet regulatory requirements and organisational standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and evaluations.
  • Stay updated on best practices and developments in the field of learning disabilities and autism to inform training content and delivery.
  • Support the development of new training programs and initiatives as needed.

Required Experience:

  • Proven experience in delivering training on topics such as Moving and Handling, Basic Life Support, Administration of Medication, and Company Induction – essential.
  • Previous experience working with individuals with learning, disabilities and autism (desirable).
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Willingness to travel across England as required for training delivery and support.

Preferred Experience:

  • Certification or training in Autism Awareness, PBS (Positive Behaviour Support), Dysphagia, Epilepsy and Ligature, CPI.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant qualifications in training, education, social care, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications or training related to learning disabilities, autism, and training delivery are desirable.
