Data Engineer | Hybrid | SQL | Somerset | £50,000

Method Resourcing have partnered with a well-known retail business who are looking for a Data Engineer to join a small but growing team.

If you are an enthusiastic and skilled Data Engineer this is a great opportunity for you to help them strengthen their capabilities. You'll play a crucial role in our team's success by helping to drive efficiency and innovation through data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various systems.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data sources, ensuring consistency and reliability across platforms.

  • Assist with the management and manipulation of data through technologies such as Telium, Braze, Redshift, Databricks, and Talend.

  • Contribute to building and optimizing APIs (XML, JSON, Python, etc.) to streamline data workflows and enhance integration efforts.

Technical Skills and Experience:

  • SQL: Essential for data querying and database management.

  • Experience with any of the following is desirable:

    • Telium

    • Braze

    • Redshift

    • Databricks

    • Talend

  • Experience with APIs (XML, JSON, Python, etc.) is beneficial.
